Welcome to our family farm

Six Dutchess is a small, diversified cut flower and fiber farm in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. On 12 acres of Dutchess County land, we grow seasonal specialty blooms and raise beloved flocks of Swedish Gotland sheep, heritage hens and honeybees. Every step of the way, we create opportunities for you to learn and connect with the cycles of small farming life.

TENDING TO THE LAND SINCE 2001

hudson valley agro tourism

We believe everyone should have access to their local farms and know how their flowers, fiber and food are grown. Our approach to farming is rooted in seasonality and sustainability, using natural methods that heal instead of harm. Through a pasture-based regenerative model of agriculture, we prioritize soil health and a balanced, bio-diverse farm ecosystem that lets the beauty of Mother Nature shine bright.

Farm Shop & CSA

Everything that we grow on our farm comes from one simple belief: happy and healthy land and livestock produce the highest quality products. Whether it’s a skein of pure Gotland yarn, a bouquet of fresh seasonal blooms, a jar of raw summer honey, or a carton of delicious heritage eggs, all of our farm offerings are grown sustainably, with love and care, and in partnership with nature.

We shear our sheep on the farm every spring and fall, and from their fine wool fleeces, we produce pure single-source Gotland yarn, which is spun at local mills in the Hudson Valley.
