This beautiful greyscale colorwork toque-style hat was created by New York-based textile designer, Sarah Solomon, and has been sample tested and photographed above with our pure Gotland yarn. The bundle comes with 2 skeins of contrasting colors, which will produce 2 hats, if alternating the color base of each hat.
Pattern is sold separately and can be purchased here. It includes three sizes and knitting notes specific to our Gotland yarn and its unique bloom and halo effect. Our 2024 yarn selection showcases the beautiful fiber of Mama Izzy, Lisbeth, Mattina, Madde, and twins, Sister Pia and Brother Per.

Gotland yarn is still a rarity in the US and produced mostly from small family farm flocks.
This means the yarn tends to sell out quickly, and we are not able to re-stock until the next shearing cycle. Each distinct color is made available in small quantities only once a year, so we encourage you to purchase enough to finish your project. If in doubt, grab an extra skein because we cannot guarantee that our next batch will be an exact match—in fact, we know it won’t be! That’s the beauty of small-batch farm yarns.
